So much that they wanted to celebrate St. Louis Craft Beer Week by throwing a 5 course meal pairing delicious food with fantastic Boulevard beers. $40 for 5 courses is a heck of a deal, so don’t let this one pass you by. Three years ago Schlafly Tap Room brewer Brennan Greene got married. He created the IBA (India Brown Ale) as a wedding beer. He’s still brewing up this beer today. Come on out and enjoy a cask of one of the best beers brewed in St. Louis.

Boulevard Beer Dinner & a Movie – Piasa Pub – 6PM

We have to go back, back to Piasa Pub! Well, you’re at least going to have to go to enjoy a dinner featuring Boulevard Beers and then after 9PM, they’ll be showing Back to the Future on their outdoor screen.

Avery Brewing 9 Circles of Hell – Llywelyn’s Webster – 6:30PM

Do you know how hard it is to keep vintages of beer? Not only do you have to sit on it for years, but you also have to have the wherewithal to not drink it! Well, Avery and Major Brands have done the heavy lifting for you and will offer up a 2007 and 2010 Beast, a 2006 and 2011 Samael, and a 2008 and 2010 Mephistopheles. If that wasn’t enough, they’ll also be offering samples of food to be paired with each beer. All this for $25? This will probably be the first event to sell out. Don’t wait. Kirkwood Highlands Beer Dinner – Kirkwood Highlands – 6:30PM

Kirkwood Highlands is putting on another of their always enjoyable beer dinners. KH’s Jack MacMurray III has put together five different courses to pair with five different Kirkwood Highlands beers. Here’s a look at the menu.

Five of St. Louis’ newest distributing breweries will be providing libations from 6:30 PM until the beer runs out. Come down and drink with the brewmasters of Urban Chestnut, Six Row, Morgan Street, 2nd Shift, and Civil Life. We will be feasting whole hog on a delicious roasted pig. All you can eat! Thirty dollars will get you a never ending plate, and a pint of cask ale provided by the Civil Life Brewing Company. Drafts from the other four breweries will be available at the bar. Don’t miss it!

In honor of St. Louis Craft Beer Week, your resident St. Louis enthusiasts, STLwinegirl Angela Ortmann and Hip Hops’ Evan Benn go head-to-head in a food pairing showdown to prove who provides the better match! With dishes prepared by Home Wine Kitchen’s Chef Cassy Vires, each guest will be served one craft beer and one wine with courses of cheese, charcuterie and chocolate. While all of the questions will have something to do with beer in one way or another, you won’t have to be a beer geek to be able to compete at this trivia night, but it helps. Ferguson will be giving away all sorts of beer related stuff from other breweries around the area (and their own) for raffle/attendance prizes as well. To celebrate “International Beer Day” UCBC will be having an event they are calling “Zwickel Vom Fass”, a night featuring a cask of “Zwickel” and likely a dry-hopped cask of “Delta Hop”, a keep the glass special, and live music from the “Bar Room Troubadours”, who will hopefully be playing outdoors (if the weather cooperates) in the UCBC parking lot converted into a beer garden for the evening. Cask(s) will be released and glassware special begins at 5pm. Music begins at approximately 7pm.
