Beer and Brats Festival – Westport Plaza – 12PM-5PM

Few things in life go better than craft beer and bratwurst. Be certain to visit Westport Plaza and partake in street entertainers, live music, and even a bratwurst eating contest. B33r and Brats – 33 Wine Shop and Tasting Bar – 12PM-5PM

If you’re trying to avoid the summer crowds and you’re looking for local freshly-grilled bratwurst, 33 Wine Bar will be hosting a special B33r and Brats event. Enjoy beer off of one of the best beer menus in St. Louis with some bratwurst from local farmers, all in the comfort of Lafayette Square.
Wine-Beer-BBQ – The Wine and Cheese Place Ballwin – 1PM-4PM

Whether you’re a long-time or a brand new homebrewer, this is your opportunity to Homebrew with Drew Huerter, the head brewer at Mattingly Brewing Company. Drew will be homebrewing that morning and is welcoming homebrewers to join him, but please make sure to RSVP with Drew. A four tap jockey box will be set up to pour beer. Anyone who brings ball lock corny keg can pour their beer through the box for the party.

The Royale is having a meet&greet with members of the Griesedieck family, brewers of Griesedieck Brothers beer. This family has been as important as any in the history of St Louis brewing and we at the Royale think their story should be better known. Bell Brewery’s Jim O’Connor will be at Cicero’s weekly Wednesday Beer School where he’ll be talking about cask ales and secondary fermentation and a history on traditional beer vessels and pouring techniques. Afterward, he’ll be opening a cask of Bell’s Porter for you to purchase at the bar.

Mattingly Brewing Company Head Brewer Drew Huerter will be serving up his famed Pale Ryeder Tripel. Drew describes it as such: “At 9.2% ABV and 35 IBUs, brewed with Pilsner and Rye malts, Thai Palm Sugar, Magnum, Sterling and Styrian Goldings hops, then fermented with our house Belgian yeast culture and aged for four months before release. Please, enjoy savor the Pale Ryeder as if it your last pleasure in the mortal plane, and be responsible enough that it isn’t.”

History of Craft Beer – Schlafly Bottleworks - 6:30PM

Henry will provide plenty of fascinating information that will teach you that the world of craft beer existed before Dogfish Head and Stone. The premiere beer festival in St. Louis, the Brewers Heritage Beer Festival will be kicking off its third year with the addition of new beers, new breweries, and a new Festival Beer! With over 18,000 attendees, this is one of the biggest festivals in the nation. This year we’ll see the addition of Mattingly Brewing Company, Buffalo Brewing Company, and Trailhead Brewing to join Schlafly, O’Fallon Brewing, Anheuser-Busch, Square One, Augusta Brewing, Alandale Brewing and Morgan Street Brewing. This event is the perfect way to cap off St. Louis Craft Beer Week.
Ss. Peter & Paul Craft Beer Fest – Alton Sportsmen’s Club - 6PM-10PM
Price $15 Per Person
Sample over 25 different beers from the likes of Schlafly, Boulevard, Bells, Sierra Nevada, O’Fallon, Dogfish Head, Three Floyds, Lagunitas and more. Tickets are $15 and include 10 three ounce samples. Additional Samples can be purchased for $1 each at the festival.
